Access to hotels should be easy for ALL. Do you agree?
Sometimes access is really easy. Automatic doors that open on approach. Friendly and welcoming staff.
However, Hotels are missing out on a share of £274 Billion why?
They do not meet the needs of people with disabilities.
Someone may require assistive technology to alert them when they are sleeping that the fire alarm has sounded.
Wheelchair users require turning space, low baths, walk in showers or wet rooms.
How are hotels to meet these needs?
If someone cannot access a hotel due to lack of access this is a huge problem but there are solutions which do not cost a fortune. Lego ramps can easily be used to assist a wheelchair user over a lip of a doorway.
